Then we have the German DAM Fishing Lure Company that started in 1875 becoming one of Europe's largest fishing supply companies. Along with Abu Garcia (Record) which started in 1921 crafting amazing fishing reels but also some legendary fishing lures. Along with Canadian companies like Lucky Strike from Ontario, Len Thompson Lures from Alberta and Royal Baits from Winnipeg Manitoba, there is a large variety of vintage metal baits. Although common many metal baits don't garner the recognition of other wooden and plastic baits but some of the oldest baits of all time are metal, including the world famous and highly sought after Haskell Minnow standard version.
